TORONTO, ON – Evolutive Systems Company, the inventor of the DBT system, proudly announces the establishment of Evolutive DBT Systems Inc. in Canada. This new subsidiary, with a dedicated development center in Toronto, will oversee the commercialization and support of DBT products and services across Central and North America.
DBT: Revolutionizing ONE ID Systems
DBT (Data Base Terminator) offers a groundbreaking, cost-effective solution for ONE ID systems. Unlike traditional 1:n biometric identification protocols, DBT employs a simpler, faster, and more secure 1:1 match protocol. Passenger information is converted into encrypted token IDs, which are securely transmitted via a VPN to the control gate. Upon receiving the token, the control gate analyzes the data—boarding pass, name, flight details, and biometric face minutiae.
The DBT system then captures a photo of the passenger, performing a swift match with the received token ID, all within less than 5 seconds as the passenger approaches the control gate. This high-precision biometric validation enhances both security and efficiency.
Seamless Integration with Existing Infrastructure
The DBT Gate Control system can be integrated into any existing e-gate infrastructure. A simple tower equipped with a camera and the DBT system is sufficient to implement a ONE ID solution. Connectivity to existing e-gates is achieved via USB or serial port, facilitating data transmission to the CUSS system.
The DBT ONE ID Control System is versatile and can be deployed for various applications, including boarding pass e-Gates, self-bag drop systems, lounge access, and security checkpoints in departure zones. The integration process is as straightforward as connecting an information display in an airport.
Upcoming Milestones
The DBT system is slated for beta testing by the end of May and is expected to enter pre-production in the second quarter of this year.
